Beauty or Harm? How to Determine Expired Makeups



Do you check the expiration dates of your makeups?


We all know that makeups have expiration dates. But what we don’t know is how long does it takes before your makeup expire. Do you have an idea how long you should keep using your favorite  lipstick?



Or maybe some ladies just don’t wanna throw it away until it’s OVER? Most especially if the makeup is really expensive that they wanna make the most out of it and use up until to the last drop. Super Relate??  🙂

Come’on ladies, don’t harm your skin merely just for the sake of saving money.

What are the dangers of using an expired makeup?

  • Skin irritations and allergies.
  • Skin problems like acne and pimples.
  • One of the most common infection that you could get is eye infection.


Save yourselves Loves!

Keep track of how long you have been using a certain makeup.
You can put a mark on the product itself or just mark your calendar when you purchased it and that helps a lot to keep track on how long you have been using the certain product.
Check the expiration dates. Products usually have the expiration dates on the box or on the plastic cover if not embedded or printed on the product itself.
Schedule a month in a year like every 6 months of when to refresh your makeup stash.

Lipstick 18 months
Lip gloss 18 months
Liquid Eyeliner 6 months
Mascara 3 months
Blusher 12 months
Foundation  – 18 months

So now you know that you cannot use your makeup forever. 
Toss that expired products 🙂
